3 SALONS – Different venues in Vienna

DAS FANTASTISCHE DRITTE (THE FANTASTIC THIRD) is dedicated to unconventional scores in a series of salons as a transcript, documentation, memory and work tool and examines them for translations in contemporary dance/performance and adjacent art fields.
Process and product want to overlap here: The salons are “social scores” themselves.
There are guests, questions and gifts. The exploration of cooperation as a composition, as an art of listening, the design of performance scores as a game and research is accompanied, for example, by self-burnt liquids and imaginary figures. The salons follow a musical polyphony in which differences intertwine with each other, as in a versatile conversation.
Questions are “What would a contemporary score be? What should be effective through your score? Which world do you want to create with a score?”
There will be (performative) gifts, everyone can bring along and are very welcome. Invited guests change at each salon.
